Holbæk Kunsthøjskole 50th anniversary

school events:

50th anniversary

During my screen printing session, including other groups we were all assigned to make something creative for the school´s grand 50th anniversary party. The theme was simply called:" time".
So from scrap we drew out illustrations and selected the best to be printed in to a plastic clear sheet. Later, we used the projector to beam up against a very big white box-which we were to paint on!  My arm had started to ache. So I got help from a friend who gave me a hand ( tusind tak, Karoline : ))

The heart in a glass box

A heart in a lid-less glass cage
Saw everything around it
A free heart in a crystal box
It sprouted up
It´s thick veins entwined
A single strong tree it became
It ´s arteries grew outwards
Many, in different directions
Some were too thin, their path forgotten
Some thick as an indisputable branch
Soon nails, pipes and rust appeared
Turning into a machine
The heart in a glass box
Still continued seeking its solitude

holbæk kunsthøjskole efterår 2012

Holbæk Kunsthøjskole:

Thank you for your time!

I want to congratulate all the new people who just happen to have started in Holbæk Kunsthøjeskole! Especially a good friend of mine Karoline who is taking another semester there. I would have loved to stay longer like my friend, if i could only afford.

The past 4 months there had been quiet an adventure ( from party to working) and met alot of interesting peolple and inspiring teachers. I would like to personally thank all the teachers,
Thomas Frissholm, for the good good times, Allan Haverholm, for being inspiration-ally awesome and Count Niels Bonde the red, for being the best in getting me up and going. And of course their magnificent head master Micheal Nielsen ( i will miss the sound of your piano). You have all lifted me higher and given me the will to pursue my dream.

I will miss the studio, the working space and of course the amount of parties.
